Our Program Director, Diane Bay, explored the concept of color harmony at our March member meeting, completing the series of programs on the Color Wheel.

Color harmony is the idea of combining colors in a way that feels balanced, pleasing, and visually engaging. At its heart, color harmony helps create a sense of order and guides how people emotionally respond to what they see. Most color harmony principles come from the color wheel, which organizes colors into primary, secondary, and tertiary groups.

Diane explained each of the common types of color harmonies and gave us examples of each one.
