The PAPA program for June was based on the book, The War of Art, by Steven Pressfield. Steven introduces the idea of Resistance as the force that tries to prevent us from doing our creative work. Diane shared excerpts from the book, which prompted us to discuss what keeps us from our work, our motivations for making art, and how each of us overcomes Resistance in our own practice. Everyone who makes art has overcome Resistance.
