From where or when this being comes seems to be the mystery PAPA artist Dianna Young is tempting you to consider. The facial features of “The Traveler” appear to indicate a person. The interrupting vertical slashes of color might cause you to question that assumption. The vibrant golden hues cast an otherworldly glow and the dark background feels almost celestial. The feathery ornamentation appears to be suspended with bead like objects. It’s unclear if the lacy features are ornamental or organic. The streaks of color around the edges seem to indicate movement but whether through time or space we can only guess.
