The title of Tom Descano’s painting, “Swirling Sunset,” seems to say everything necessary but at the same time, not nearly enough. You may be drawn immediately to the vibrant colors in the kind of sharp contrast that only a sunset can manage. Perhaps you think of another painting with swirls in the sky conspiring to carry you away into the night. You may notice the wavy lines seeming to indicate movement at a pleasing pace you hope continues.
Tom is our featured artist this month and his exhibit is a rich tableau of expressive colors and scenes. We hope you’ll come to downtown Paducah this month and visit this special feature.
