Billie Dean Shoemate III is a multifaceted artist, blurring boundaries across literature, music, and visual art. As a novelist, he has penned over 40 books in the horror/thriller genres, while his musical endeavors have yielded multiple albums and collaborations with indie acts all over the country. A seasoned musician of nearly three decades, Billie has also honed his skills as an audio engineer, podcaster, and audiobook narrator.
Billie strives to empower fellow artists through his freelance production label – supporting writers, musicians, and filmmakers. Billie’s painting journey began when his grandmother, a master painter, sadly passed away and left him her brushes. Growing tired of seeing them collect dust and looking for a way to keep her legacy alive, Billie began painting at the age of 38, thankful that he had the good fortune of watching such a skilled painter for most of his life. Since beginning, he hasn’t stopped, amassing hundreds of paintings in many mediums and styles.
