ALL PAPA MEMBERS are invited to enter our September Classic Rides & Retro Vibes show-in-a-show exhibit! Our theme is inspired by the ‘Cars and Guitars‘ downtown Paducah event series. The event draws participants, car enthusiasts, and music lovers together for a lively atmosphere in downtown Paducah.
Classic Rides & Retro Vibes Exhibit
Exhibit Dates: September 15 – October 24
Special Opening: Saturday, September 19 | 3:00–7:00 p.m.
Held during the downtown Cars and Guitars event
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- Theme: Classic Cars, Guitars, Music, or Retro Vibes
- Up to 4 original, signed miniature paintings
- Paintings must be framed, with an outside frame size of 8×10 or smaller
- Sold paintings may be replaced throughout the exhibit until October 24
- Include 35% PAPA commission when pricing your work
- Label the back of each painting with: Artist Name, Painting Title, Price
- If using a Michael Dukes reference photo (see below), add: Photo reference: Michael Dukes
- Docent requirements do not apply for this special exhibit.
- Unsold paintings will automatically roll into the next PAPA Member Show (November–January).
Accepting entries: Tuesday, August 25 – Saturday, September 12
You may bring your paintings to the August PAPA Member Meeting or leave them on the back counter at the gallery through Saturday, September 12. If leaving your work at the gallery, please include a note indicating that the paintings are for the “Classic Rides & Retro Vibes” exhibit.
Michael plans to attend the opening reception and is looking forward to seeing the exhibit. He may also be interested in purchasing or commissioning artwork inspired by his photographs.
