Our featured artist this month brings a delightful display for your enjoyment. Harrietta Harper’s style leads you to believe the paint flows effortlessly from palette to brush to canvas. In “Fiery Geraniums” her colors are at once distinctive yet simultaneously dreamlike. You tend to feel the flowers are reaching out asking you to sample the aroma. The surface on which the pot sits is clearly reflective but not exactly solid. Your eye wanders pleasantly around the tableau never quite settling, but never quite wanting to.
