Celebrations for the 250th Birthday of the founding of the USA, were so uplifting along with the show of Patriotism! Fireworks, were just beautiful, too! Thanks to each of you, contributing to our July Challenge… was perfect for our celebration! Following the 250th Celebration came the FIFA Games! I watched several games, all the way to the final game…never knew it could be so exciting! I admire the strength and endurance of each player!
Speaking of strength and endurance…get ready for busy times at the Gallery, with so many opportunities to show our work. First, is the gallery Show Change, July 27th and 28th. You know…4 Framed, 4 Unframed, 7 Minis and 8 Cards. Next, Classic Rides and Retro Vibes. Bring your work Aug. 25th- Sept. 12th. This is a show of miniatures, outside frame measurements 8” x 10” and smaller, bring 4 and paintings will remain until Oct. 24th. The Gallery Show Change for Winter, October 26th-27th. Mid-November will begin the $10 Fundraising Miniature Sale. Finally, the Painting Exchange for our December Meeting, on the 29th. Whew!
Our regular meeting, Tuesday evening, the 28th. Diane will be introducing an alternative CMY, alternative Color Wheel! What it reveals may surprise you! The Challenge is “Painting of a Sailboat”. Next month’s Challenge, “Turning a Page of a Coloring Book, into a Masterpiece”! Billie D. Shoemate will have refreshments. Thanks, to Judith Webb for last month’s treats.
