Fans of classic cars and good music will get a special treat this fall. “Chrome & Strings” by Ann Beckett, is one of a special exhibit that will be available through the end of October. Joining forces with Paducah’s “Cars & Guitars” event, the PAPA Gallery artists have created a unique “show in a show” we’re calling “Classic Rides & Retro Vibes.” These paintings celebrate the people, vintage cars and concerts of this enjoyable downtown Paducah happening. In the best spirit of the exhibit, Ann provides both the beautiful lines and colors of this vintage auto as well as a classic model guitar that seems to be waiting to break into one of your favorite tunes.
When you’re downtown during the next few weeks, drop in at the PAPA Gallery to enjoy the artful displays. Come to our special opening on Saturday September 19th from 3-7 pm as we salute those who restore the original beauty of America’s classic cars, the musicians who continue to feed our appetite for classic oldies, as well as the painters who enjoy and celebrate both! We hope to see you and simply enjoy art with you!
