This bucolic scene might look a little familiar simply because of the similar storms we’ve had lately! The bare trees, the slightly greening grass, storm cloud gray moving into what had been bright blue. It all seems to suggest early spring. You may feel a silent urge to hurry the horse along against the storm coming up behind them. You might even wonder if they should get back under the cover of the convenient bridge. PAPA artist Brenda Foster created this scene titled “Amish” and more of her work is on our Featured Artist wall the rest of this month. She thoughtfully puts some of herself into each painting and you can feel it when you look at the works in her special exhibit.
