Fragrant roses leave a wonderful impression and we’re reminded every summer season that by any other name, they’d still smell sweet. PAPA artist Harrietta Harper shares that sentiment with us in her painting, “Rose Garden.” Her subtle colors and soft edges seem to invite you in for a whiff of the cool shady greens behind the perfume you suspect is floating right above the scene. The paintings Harrietta shares with us are soft yet vibrant and always overflowing with the spirit of the scene.
If you’re a lover of flowers, come enjoy this and several other floral paintings awaiting your perusal in our current show. Take a few minutes while you’re downtown to pop in and appreciate these and other offerings by our talented artists. We’ve also provided more to see over at Paducah City Hall in our first special summer exhibit. Drop in at either location and simply enjoy art with us!
