Happy 2026, to each of you! The holidays were great fun and too much food, so now it is time for exercise and painting! So far, it has been so cold, staying home and painting is the best option…exercise, later!
The final total for our $10 Mimi Fundraiser was $2100! Thanks, again for your donations. We depend on the fundraiser, your dues and the 35 per cent from sales to pay our bills!! If you have questions about your dues, or to see if you are current in payment, call me, or check the Membership List in the Show Book.
Murray Art Guild will open their new facility in March and are quickly filling the Exhibiting Schedule. PAPA Gallery has been asked to provide a show in 2027! Cindy is our “go to” person working with MAG, so stay tuned, for more on this awesome opportunity!
One day, when you are taking a break from painting, take a good look at our fabulous Website! Check out everything, then click on Art Resources. You will find recaps of past programs, tips on caring for your art, making art and so much more! Thanks, to Cindy and Suzanne as they make our Website, a destination for visitors and members, too! Be sure to thank them and all the contributors.
Congrats to Sandi Johnson for being selected to participate in The Art of Abstraction and creating a label for a light Gin Barrel at 407 Jefferson! Her label was titled “Sir Trash Panda”. You can check out all of this on our Facebook Page.
