If you walked into this scene, there is little doubt it would feel cold. Somehow though, PAPA artist Ryan Robertson leaves us with a cozy feeling. In “Lost Farms” the palette of blues and whites leave little doubt of the frigid temp. The tiny bright bit of sky trying to peek through cloud provides little hope of a warm sun. But yet the whole scene feels dreamy, letting you imagine you’re looking at the tableau while under a soft blanket with the warmth of a crackling fire and something hot to drink in your hand. Many of our customers apparently felt similarly and voted this as People’s Choice.
Come in from the cold and enjoy the warmth of this painting and many others gracing our walls this month. We can’t think of a better way to start the New Year than by taking some time to enjoy art with us!
