Maryann Huebschmann died a couple weeks ago.  She was a long time, very dedicated member, maybe a Charter Member.  She always brought the maximum number of paintings for every category, to every Gallery Show change, and very supportive of the $10 Fundraiser.  This past year her mobility and health was failing, she still made sure her dues were paid!  Many of us attended workshops with her, painted with her, and watched her skillls in watercolor continue to grow.  She was my friend and we will all miss her.

Thanks, to Chad McLaren for organizing and delivering our donations to Papillion! Our paintings were so appreciated and a good amount of money was made through a silent auction.  Chad said PAPA Gallery was mentioned many times during the
Thanksgiving Dinner!  Thanks, to everyone that participated in the worthy event.

The hits to our website continue to soar!  I think Cindy is saying…”be sure your bio and artist page is updated and actually, present!”  The list of persons following us by email is growing beyond our expectations!  Thanks, Suzanne for your expertise and managing our communications with this source!

Our $10 Mini Fundraiser begins November 15th.  The money from this sale pays expenses for us during the slower business months of winter. Please donate as many as possible. This is a much anticipated event by the community!

The next Gallery Show change is October 27th and 28th.  As always, 4 framed, 4 unframed, 7 minis , 8 cards, and for this show, 5  Christmas Ornaments.  Ornament participation is open to non-exhibitors.

The next meeting is September 30th, 7:00, at the Gallery.  Diane will continue her programs on color, “Temperature” will be the topic.  The challenge is “ Abstract Painting”.  Next month is “Painting of a Cow”.  Refreshments provided by Mark and Joyce Ray, Scott and Gae, and Diane Ireland.

Thank you, Amy, Emma, and Yates Sharp, for your Featured Artist Show!  We are so blessed to have this gifted family continuing the legacy of Clara Little, at PAPA! Thanks, to Jason, for his help framing and encouragement .  Next month Joyce Ray, will be featured.

Board members we need to meet at 6:00, before the meeting.

Vickie Gingrich is doing well with her new knee!  I am happy to report my vision is 20/25, after Cataract Surgery.  Hope all is well with each of you.

One more thing…if you wish to extend the hours of the Gallery, let Liz know, 270-210-9790.

As always, thank you, for all you do, for PAPA.
