Lisa Welch

I grew up in Carlisle County, moving to Nashville area in 2013. I’ve been an Intensive Care Nurse since January 2012, and traveling for the last 4 years. I worked covid ICU during the pandemic, and needed a hobby to help cope with several areas of my life at that time. I stopped at a Dollar General, got a canvas and paint, and started to work on painting. I paint to music, all genres, and would relate paintings to music. Self teaching with acrylic on canvas. Never taking art classes, but wanting to, I’m new to letting anyone see my paintings, other than posting on my instagram occasionally. I always enjoy visiting galleries and while visiting this one, decided to join. Each painting however simple, is an extension of me and my thoughts, my insight to music or travel nursing.
