PAPA Members Shine at the 2016 Pennyroyal Juried Art Exhibition

Congratulations to PAPA Members in the Yeiser Center's 2015 Members' Show Peoples' Choice Awards Winners!  First Place - "Dynamic Elegance" by Tommy Fletcher; Third Place - "It's Not the Painter, but the Painted" by Carol Hudson.

Jan Farley's works were featured in the Princeton Art Guild's spring show, "Jan Farley Visuals"  in Princeton KY.

Her painting shown here, was made into a poster sold as a fund raiser for future guild workshops.

Frank Bennett has a solo exhibition at the Marion, Il Convention Center during the month of December.

Tommy Fletcher was awarded second place in the 2 Rivers Paint Out in Clarksville TN, a plein air event held in October. The winning painting is shown here.

A number of Frank Bennett's paintings were on exhibit at the Marion, IL Civic Center in March 2016.

Look for another exhibit of his work at the same location sometime later this year.

Two members took honors in the Little Egypt Art Association's 2016 Painting and Drawing Competition in Marion IL. Vicki Lee Gingrich's work, "Abandoned Iron Works - Michigan"  was awarded 1st Place in the Drawing category. Diane Beggs Ireland's work, "In the Tetons"  took 3rd Place in the Painting category

PAPA Members Celebrated Successes in 2016

You never know who's going to come through the door at the PAPA Gallery! Vickie Lee Gingrich and Susan Lambert are pictured here with several Chinese visitors in early June. They had a great visit and some in the group even purchased PAPA artwork!

Both Betty Martyn and Charles David Alexander  had paintings accepted from 104 entries

from all over the country into the Gibson County Visual Arts Association's 2016 exhibition with

juror Tom Francesconi.  Exhibition was at City Hall in Trenton, Tennessee

Jenny Fuller  recently wrote and illustrated 2 children's books. A book signing was held Sunday, March 13th at The PAPA Gallery and a portion of the proceeds from "A Horse Named Willie" are donated to 

Cassidy's Cause Therapeutic Academy.

 The Impressions 2016 Exhibition at the Icehouse Gallery in Mayfield, KY once again recognized talented PAPA members this year. John McLaren was awarded Best of Show as well as First Place in the Paducah Woman's Club Art Show!

Tommy Fletcher, as last year's winner, was featured with several paintings in the center of the exhibition.
