The Paducah Area Painters Alliance celebrates their 20th birthday in April! PAPA was founded in 1991 by thirty-five artist who met to encourage one another and share knowledge. L. Dwain Smith, a founding member of PAPA serves as President of the now 120 member organization. “We are the oldest active artists’ organization in the area. Our membership, both local and regional, includes professional and fledgling artists”.

Located in the heart of historic downtown, the PAPA Gallery is Paducah’s most unique and exciting gallery featuring the original art from almost 100 local and regional artists. The large, well-lit gallery welcomes all to browse and experience the art. The show changes four times a year keeping the gallery fresh and insuring you can find the perfect original to grace your home or office.
